Gifts For Her Guide

Hello! Today I'm going to do a different post from my usual product reviews. Thanksgiving is coming quickly then Christmas and that means shopping for your loved ones. I made a list of beauty products that your loved ones might like, doesn't have to be a significant other it can be a friend, mother, sister, or whoever. Down below I've compiled 12 things that people might love that doesn't involve thinking of if they'll like it cause of the colors. These are products, in my opinion that can go well with anyone, though you may have to snoop around a bit to see if they have these or not. Here are my top picks for beauty products:

1. Charlotte Tilbury - Filmstar Bronze & Glow ($65.00)
2. Jo Malone London - Nectarine Blossom & Honey ($60.00)
3. Tarte - Chic to Cheek Deluxe Amazonian Clay Blush Set ($35.00)
4. Urban Decay - Vice 3 ($60.00)
5. LORAC - PRO Palette 2 ($42.00)
6. Buxom - Lip Gloss Roulette ($59.00)

7. Urban Decay - Naked 3 ($59.00)
8. Urban Decay - Naked 2 Basics ($29.00)
9. Fresh - Sugar Cravings Kissing Trio ($28.00)
10. Nars - The NARSissist Eyeshadow Palette ($79.00)
11. Clarisonic - Mia 2 Pure Glow Holiday Gift Set ($149.00)
12. Hourglass - Ambient Lighting Blush Palette ($58.00)

Please you do not have to choose these specifically, do look around the websites and see what you think she might like. A gift should be thoughtful. If you see something that reminds you of that person then get it :)

Of course not all ladies in our lives are interest in beauty product as much as others. So try to think of what she likes. I think knowing what a person likes and getting them something that relates to their interest shows a lot of sincerity. Or you don't want to get them beauty products because you know they already have too much. So I've also made a list of general things that she might like:

If she likes Fall/Winter weather then I suggest giving her scarves. Now a days the trend for scarves are big huge scarves so may I suggest scarves from Zara and Aritzia. I honestly think they have beautiful scarves. Another one are boots, can never go wrong with boots! Unless you picked the wrong size but that doesn't matter cause as long you keep the receipt you can always trade in for the right size. I feel like you can't give a girl any kind of boots and call it good. You got to know her personality and style so you can find the right boots for her. Look around on Nordstrom I think they have the best varieties of shoes and DSW.

An awesome idea to give as a gift is a trip to somewhere! You can never go wrong with a get-away to somewhere :) It can be a family get-away, or a group of friends, or a couple get-away. Another idea is a gift to a cruise trip! I think that would be an awesome gift!

Overall whatever gift you give her it should come from the heart. If you can't think of anything to give her maybe think about her favorite products or maybe if a product is being discontinue then gift her that discontinue product so she can have backups of her favorite product. If you need help thinking of an idea then do not be afraid to ask :)

The perfect fall nail color: Essie's Who Is The Boss

For some reason I've been feeling kind like a blue but not so blue nail polish, something toned down. (Yes, I have color moods). So I went through my tiny little nail polish collection(mostly consists of Essie because I love them!) and I found to happen to stumble across an old nail polish called Who Is the Boss. It was part of Essie's Wedding Collection in 2012 I believe. So I'm sorry to be sharing a color that is no longer available but I just want to share my current obsession. I've tried looking for it online but it isn't anywhere to be found.

I think Who Is The Boss is the perfect fall nail polish color because its not too bright, or too dark, and it has a nice grey tone to it. And I love grey in the colder weathers because I feel it just go well with the coldness hahaha. Yea I'm not sure what I'm saying, it's just hard to describe the feelings. But anyway it's just my current color mood and I'm just loving it people! It's such a beautiful color. I read the description on the Essie website it describe it as a minty green color but for some reason I see blue, am I color blind?

Since Who Is The Boss is no longer being sold I went and look to find something similar and I found Zoya nail polish that has more of a blue color with a hint of grey nail polish: Zoya - Kristen ($9)

What's your favorite nail polish you like to rock this fall?

Review: LUSH lip scrub - love thy lips!

I'm back again with another review! Lately I've been into lipsticks, I'm not really a lipstick kind of gal, but I just thought I would step outside of my bubble a bit. A bought a few(maybe more than a few...) lipsticks to try out but when I tried them on it didn't look right. My lips looked chappy when I applied lipstick on, especially pink lipsticks. Of course the only solution to fix this ratchet look (xD) is to have my lips exfoliated.

I know there are homemade lip scrubs out there but I've tried it once and it was just to messy for my taste. I believed I tried making the homemade lip scrub out of sugar, honey, and vaseline but I just end up throwing it away it didn't do my lips justice. Then I've tried scrubbing my lips with a toothbrush but I didn't like the idea and it hurts my lip's skin, but I think brushing your lips would be the cheapest option for exfoliating your lips.

In the end I decided to go buy a lip scrub from LUSH because I've read so many good reviews about their lip scrub. I went to my closest LUSH boutique and purchase the Mint Julips lip scrub for $9.95. One thing that I like about LUSH is that they're products are all made of natural ingredients. Mint Julips is made out of castor sugar, jojoba oil, vanilla extract, etageres oil, peppermint oil, and limonene. There are two more kinds of lip scrub, Bubblegum and Popcorn, but I chose Mint Julips because I like that cooling feel after you scrub your lips like the feeling after you brush your teeth :D

I've been trying this product since the beginning of this month and it makes my lips flawless! At night time or in the morning I use the LUSH's lip scrub, every other day, and apply lip balm after wards. Thus making my lips looking kissable and free of a chappy look.

Also a little cool little fact about LUSH's lip scrub is that they are edible so if you want you can just eat it right out of the jar or from your lips ;P

- LUSH's Mint Julips lip scrub $9.95

Down to business I would overall rate this bad boy 5 out of 5! Because it is that freakin awesome of a product. Forever repurchasing!

What's a #GIRLBOSS?

Hello there! I just want to let you guys know what I've been enjoying! It's not make-up related or anything, it's a book! I've finished reading this hilarious/serious and such an inspiring book called #GIRLBOSS by Sophia Amoruso, the founder of Nasty Gal. Sophia writes about how her life was before, during her start of her company, and currently of Nasty Gal. For those who do not know Nasty Gal, no its not a pervert site, it is a clothing store that sells women clothing online. Sophia built Nasty Gal from the ground up by starting her own online store on Ebay then from there it grew into a multimillion dollar company and she talks more in depth about how she did it in her book.

Not only does she talk about her company she also talks about her life before Nasty Gal and about what kind of person she was back then. Her talking about her self before Nasty Gal made her more relatable to me because I feel like even though I may view myself different from others that I too can also make it big in the world and that I do not need to be the same as everyone else. If a book can make me feel pretty damn special and inspire me to work my ass off then that book needs to be shared because not all books can do that! Sophia pretty much tells you how to be a #GIRLBOSS, hint her title, and how to work in the real world.

Plus this book is such an extremely easy read, I basically breeze through this book while at the same time memorize the things this book has to offer. It is not one of those books where they tell you how to build your own company, its about how to be a #GIRLBOSS. If you do not know what a #GIRLBOSS is then read it I'm not going to tell you.

So get this book and read it! I highly recommend it. Guy or girl, it doesn't matter, this book will change how you view things in life and inspire you to work harder than ever.

- #GIRLBOSS ( oh you know you want it ;} )
